Phazzer Stun Guns are a brand of self defense weapons that are quite unique. You see, all other stun gun makers either make direct contact stun guns or, like TASER, a shooting style of stun guns. But, Phazzer makes both styles.
The direct contact stun guns require that the user makes “direct contact” between the stun gun and the attacker. And, upon doing so, the user pushes the button causing the stun to fire. And, Phazzer makes the Scorpion and the Titan which are both direct contact stun guns.
The alternative, like a TASER Gun, shoots electrodes which are tethered by wires, a particular distance. In this case, the length of the wires is 15 feet. So, the user has the ability to “hit” an attacker up to 15 feet away with a stun. The stun is delivered via the wires into the attacker. And, Phazzer makes both the Dragon and the Enforcer, which are both projectile shooting types of stun guns.
Phazzer also makes other types of devices, like spy glasses, knives and such. But, they are mostly known for their stun guns. And, let it be known that they are very good quality weapons.

We’ve been waiting for this stun gun for quite some time. And, yes, we’ve been a little let down by it not being released when the manufacturer said it would be. But, although I’ve not held one in my hands, I know its going to be worth the wait. What’s more is that I do believe PHAZZER is very near to releasing it.
You see, the PHAZZER Hornet is not your ordinary stun gun. The Hornet is, like the Dragon and Enforcer, a Projectile Shooting Stun Gun. Like the TASER Brand of products, these self defense weapons actually shoot electrodes up to 15 feet outwards to an attacker, thus giving the user a safe distance within which to stay. While other models of stun guns require the user to be within inches of an attacker and to “directly contact” an attacker with the weapon, the PHAZZER Hornet, Dragon and Enforcer all provide the safe distance aspect of weaponry.
Now, we do acknowledge that Phazzer has been working for a couple of years to bring this great product to market. But, we do know that they have been actively testing the unit and making minor modifications so that it is safe AND effective. It will prove to be worth the wait. What’s even nicer, yet, is that its price point will be way below that of the Dragon and the TASER C2. It looks like its going to hit the market somewhere near the $250 price point, which is roughly a hundred bucks less than the other two models.
Keep your eyes posted here as you can bet we’ll be telling all about it once its finally release.
We got a lot of people asking about the Phazzer Dragon . They’re familiar with the TASER C2, but have not hear of the Dragon. So, here’s a little info about it.
First, Phazzer is a company who has set out to take on the big boys. In addition to making some truly high quality direct contact stun guns, they also make (currently) 2 models of projectile shooting stun guns (similar to TASER which shoots out the electrodes). They make the Phazzer Enforcer and the Dragon. The Enforcer is the top of the line model which rivals the Taser X26C. But, the Dragon is designed to rival the C2.
The Dragon has a similar ergonomic shape to the C2. It fits very nicely into small, as well as large hands. It also has a laser like the TASER model, but has a super bright LED light as well. Now, here’s where the Dragon gets a little different. Presumably, you’ll be using the cartridges made by Phazzer in the unit. Phazzer claims they have a unique coiling system of the wires/electrodes that are all wound up inside the cartridges. Because of this unique way of coiling, they say that the wires get tangled far fewer times than those of the TASER cartridges. This is important because if the wires get tangled, they probably won’t shoot the full 15′ and are much less likely to hit the target. As such, Phazzer claims a higher “effectiveness” rating for their cartridges.
Like the C2, the Phazzer Dragon can also be used as a direct contact stun gun after firing a cartridge should someone need a quick second application of protection (stun). The Dragon also has, which the C2 does not, a safety disable pin. By having this around your wrist, if someone should grab the dragon from your hand, the pin dislodges and the unit becomes useless. This way, an attacker cannot use the stun gun on you.

Phazzer has done an admiral job of taking on one of the titans in the self defense weapons industry. The TASER C2 has been around for a while now and the TASER brand is widely recognized as being a leader in the field. But, Phazzer, with their Dragon model stun gun is gaining traction in the US.
The Phazzer Dragon is very similar to the TASER C2 in design and functionality. It is shaped almost identical and the technical specs are also very similar. A couple of key differences, though, actually slide the scale to the favor of Phazzer as possibly being the better weapon.
First, Phazzer has a unique coiling system for the wires inside their cartridges. And, because of this, Phazzer claims their wires have less tangling upon deployment and therefore, offer a higher effectiveness rating. All this means that when you shoot the electrodes, they don’t get tangled and they hit the person much more often than the TASER brand of cartridges.
Secondly, the batteries used by the Dragon have a much longer life expectancy than the TASER brand. Phazzer claims that their unit will last for hundreds of firings, while their competitor’s batteries will only last for 50 or so. And, since they’re not cheap to replace, this truly is quite impactful to the owner.
Check them both out and make your own decision. But, please know that Phazzer is truly coming into center stage with the Dragon, the Enforcer, and the soon to be released Hornet.
